Everyone dreams of having a few extra hours in the day for relaxation, family time and exercise. You may not be able to get those extra hours but there are many ways you can include fitness into your busy lifestyle. By learning how to fit fitness into your busy routine, you can protect your health and happiness and have a better outlook on life.

Generally we include our Physical health in daily life and think that health is all about free from diseases, but mental health and social health are equally important with physical health. Developed countries are facing mental health problems more than physical health. Once you develop mental health problems, it is impossible to fully recover through your whole life.

The English word "Health" comes from the old English word "Hale" meaning "well or wholeness". WHO definition for health is: health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease.

In modern day busy life, it seems very tough to stay fit. We are very busy in collecting day to day needs. We are now more financial conscious rather than health conscious. Staying healthy and keeping fit can be an uphill struggle when you are busy. Here are some tips that will help you to find some time for himself and to stay fit.

Exercise: You need not to exercise for hours to stay fit. You can just do 4 minutes of kettle Bell exercise, 2 minutes of squats and 4 minutes of abbs work. 20 minutes in a day will bring a positive change to your Physical health.

At work: Take a 10 minute break while at work, wash your face with cold water and stretch your body. Drink a glass of water and you can also perform Yogic asana while sitting at your chair.


Workout with the kids: Playing with your kids or dancing around with them is a great way to work out without realising it. Moreover you will not feel guilty that you don't have enough spare time to spend with them.

Quick recipes: When you have an awful day and drive home late, make sure all these days you do not go for unhealthy foods.


Optimum healthy foods: When you are busy, your diet can suffer and pizza's vending machines and takeaways can become too much regular occurrence for you. To make sure you get the right nutrition, you always have a stock of good foods that deliver maximum health benefits.


Keep smiling: When you are chasing a busy day full of meetings, your stress levels are high which will impact on your health. So the anticipation of Laughter can also help us to relax and reduce the stress levels.

Enough sleep: Do not compromise on sleep as 7 to 8 hours sleep is ideal. Schedule your sleep as you do it for meetings. Sleep will enhance your overall health and also helps you to trim down your waist line.

All of these, can be used to help you get the recommended 150 minutes of exercise each week. It will help you to relax your mind and body.
